Securely Sending Your Invoices: The Right Inbox, Every Time
In the hustle and bustle of business operations, a common mistake is sending an invoice to the wrong contact or forgetting if it was ever sent at all.
Our new Secure Invoice Tracking and Delivery flow in Smart Dhandha was designed to solve this exact problem.
1. Verify Client Emails at Creation
When you're creating a new invoice, Smart Dhandha now shows a live verification card.
What Does the Card Show?
- Email Address: It highlights the email on file for that client.
- Verification Badge: It confirms: "Invoice will be sent here".
- Alert: If a client doesn't have an email on file, you get an immediate alert: "No email on file — add one in the client profile first".
2. Instant Email Previews Before Sending
Once your invoice is saved, you can click the Send (✉) button. Before the email is actually fired off, you'll see a Preview Dialog.
What's Inside the Preview?
- Recipient Name & Email: You can double-check you're sending it to the right person.
- Phone Number: A quick reference if you need to follow up with a text.
- Invoice Details: It confirms exactly which invoice is being sent.
3. Tracking Your Invoice Life-Cycle
Smart Dhandha tracks the status of each invoice:
- Draft: You’re still working on it.
- Saved: It’s ready but hasn't been sent.
- Sent: The email was fired off to the client. After sending, the system automatically updates the status from
savedtosent. - Paid: You’ve received the funds and recorded the transaction.
4. Why This Matters
For agencies and small businesses, unpaid invoices are often the result of an invoice that was never sent or was sent to an outdated contact.
Small verification steps at every stage ensure your cash flow stays steady and your records are professional.
Get your invoices paid faster. Track and send securely with Smart Dhandha
