How to Manage Hiring and Recruitment in Smart Dhandha

Growing a team is hard enough without having to juggle multiple tools for job postings, candidate tracking, and employee onboarding. That is why we have integrated a complete hiring module directly into Smart Dhandha.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can use Smart Dhandha to streamline your entire recruitment process.

1. Create Beautiful Job Postings

You can now create and manage job postings directly from your Smart Dhandha dashboard.

  • Custom URLs: Every job gets a clean, SEO-friendly URL under your organization's public careers page (/careers/your-company-slug).
  • Rich Descriptions: Use Markdown to format your job descriptions with headers, bullet points, and bold text.
  • Salary Transparency: Choose whether to display the salary range publicly with a simple toggle.
  • Status Controls: Keep jobs in Draft while you work on them, move them to Open when you are ready to hire, or set them to On Hold or Closed when you have enough applicants.

2. Share Your Public Careers Page

Every organization in Smart Dhandha automatically gets a public, unauthenticated careers page. You do not need to build a separate website to list your open roles.

Candidates can view all your open positions and apply directly through a simple modal form. They only need to provide their name, email, phone number, and a link to their resume or portfolio.

You can easily share your job postings on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or X (Twitter) using the built-in share buttons.

3. Track Candidates Through the Pipeline

When candidates apply, they automatically enter your hiring pipeline. Smart Dhandha uses a structured 7-stage flow:

  1. Applied
  2. Screening
  3. Interview 1
  4. Interview 2
  5. Offer
  6. Hired
  7. Rejected

You can move candidates between stages with a single click. Every time you move a candidate, you can add a rating out of 5 stars and internal notes. All stage transitions are permanently logged, giving you a complete audit history of the candidate's journey.

4. Convert Candidates to Employees Instantly

The best part of an integrated system is what happens after you make a hire.

When a candidate reaches the Hired stage, you will see a Convert to Employee button. Clicking this takes you straight to the employee onboarding form, pre-populated with the candidate's name, email, and expected salary.

No more copy-pasting data between your ATS and your payroll system. Smart Dhandha connects the dots for you, making team expansion smoother than ever.
